Ok, it all started harmless... I started to build a Dragonpriest staff... and then a mask to go with it. And then I moved on to the armor set...

Since I choose Krosis for the mask - which to me looks like weathered bronze with some greenish oxidation - I decided to use the same painting technique for the whole set.
I was really nervous about getting that color right but in the end the weathering was the favorite part of the whole building process.
The base is a pepakura build (file mask: jtm, all of the other files
), covered in papermaché then a layer of Worbla on top. For the old, burried armor of an undead the texture of the Worbla is perfect!
