Female Dwarf fighter by Nephtis Female Dwarf fighter by Nephtis
Another dwarf, this time a chick , fighter extraordinaire with a deadly axe. A weapon like that needs a name, don't you think?

Sorry, no beard, it's hard to make a figure that muscular look female with a beard.

Could have put sideburns on or gave her a bit of chin whiskers.  Otherwise, you did a good job with the detailing.

Personally, i prefer my dwarven women un-bearded... but apparently these days the stylish dwarven lady wears facial hair.

Is it okay if I print this out and color it in to use as a reference for my D&D character?

Actually it was a gift to a friend for exactly that purpose. so the character design is hers. I can't really give permission to use another person's character.

But I suppose since it's very unlikely that the two of you will ever play together who'd know if you did what you suggested? As long as you don't use it online I see no harm.

That's a nice armor & axe you've got here. It's a nice dwarf with a beautiful face, but I think her proportions are a little too human. Not just the arms and legs... Also her hip and chest, female dwarves are small, but they have those parts kinda big lol I like beardless dwarves though, since I'm playing as one also :)

Awesome line work. You don't really see that many female dwarf warriors out there. I also agree with what to name the axe. Battle Witch would be an AWESOME name for that axe! If you don't mind I'd like to send you an invite to my group and add this to the Fantasy Gallery.

You can sure add the image to the gallery but I will have to decline the invitation. See this picture is a few years old and as of right now classic fantasy is not exactly my main interest anymore. I do the occasional Role Playing character but that's mostly it. But I feel flattered you'd want me to join, thanks for that!

I love your works, specially your D&D characters.
I"m playing a female dwarf cleric, and see a dwarwen character with good body proportions....I'm so happy! Thank you a lot!

Glad you like it! Dwarves are difficult. Making them look short and compact without appearing to be simply fat with heads too big for the body is difficult and it doesn't always work.

So she is one of the 9 of every 10 dwarven female that shaves? Very cool picture.

Ok... well, I guess we will never know (except if you do a picture of her shaving). Otherwise, very cool picture :)

:D maybe thats the reason! if i had that kind of axe i would be very jolly:laughing: Or maybe she dreams about how to smash that in to some orcs skull:D
