PLEASE: THERE'S NO NEED TO TELL ME THAT SNAPE'S PATRONUS IS A DOE.

IF YOU LOOK AT THE DATE OF SUBMISSION THIS WAS DONE IN 2005 WHEN "DEATHLY HALLOWS" WASN'T PUBLISHED YET, IT WAS A CONTEST, PURE SPECULATION!
I WILL NOT REPLY TO ANY FURTHER COMMENT ON THIS.
My entry for the running contest.
I thought it was fitting for Snape to have feline Patronus. It's embarassing for any Slytherine to have such a Gryffindor familiar, and I choose the lynx 'cause somehow that's the most sly cat I could think of. More a personal feeling than any research on a lynx's mythological qualities.
What do you think on the subject? What kind of patronus should he have?
Note: This is finished (so don't ask, like my dad did: Are you going to colour it? No? too lazy?)
This is supposed to show the difference between the material, real person and the conjured being.
UPDATE: Since I got a lot of complains that the patronus looked more real than the black 'n white Snape I gave it a try and coloured it. I still hink the inked version was better, but I am open to suggestions... at least I tried to stick to my original idea and chose a different style to colour. Hope this is more agreable...

interesting idea. i've never thought about it because i started reading the series so late into the thing i missed out on speculating. although it is a doe it does talk about how his patronus changed after he really fell in love with lily so it's interesting to think what it might have been before.
